    Default 1937 Dome light

From what I can tell 99.9 percent of the 37 and 38 trucks never came with a dome light since I never seen one that had a dome light and only seen a 36 GMC that had one,I picked up off ebay what is supposed to be a accessory 37 truck dome light and if they ever actually came with one where would have been located. I am going to post some pics of what I got when I figure out howand even if its not originally for a 37 its going to be installed since I definately need one and it looks period correct.

I am not aware of a dome light on a 1936-38 GMC or Chevrolet. If it even existed it would be in the form of a dash map light.

Most owners used the steering column mounted flash light (very popular in the 1930’s). Our part number is MS720 at $14.50.

    Thanks,
